Nothing too technical for the second week CrossFit Open 2022. CrossFit HQ in the US announced the workout on March 3rd.
The second workout (22.2) was a “pyramid ladder”.
Within 10-minutes, complete an ascending and descending ladder of Deadlifts and Bar-Facing Burpees. Start with 1 Deadlift, and 1 Bar-Facing Burpee. Move immediately to the round of 2 Deadlifts and 2 Bar-Facing Burpees. Continue adding one repetition per round until after the round of 10. Then, subtract 1 rep per round from 9, 8, 7, 6, etc. until either the 10-minute clock stops or the final round of 1 repetition each is finished.
Not too technical, lots of heavy lifting and burpees!
Many members that had chosen a scaled version of 22.1 stepped up to try the RX version for 22.2.
You need to be Super Human to complete 100 deadlifts and 100 burpees within 10 minutes, that’s a total of 200 reps. Many of CrossFit’s elite athletes completed it within 10 minutes. One member of our tribe members achieved 180 reps in 10 minutes!
